Having fished Shasta many times myself, I would expect 26lbs to win it for a two day tourney. About 13lbs a day. That is a limit of two pounders and one kicker in the 4lb range.

Based on previous "T" s I've fished down there about 18.5 to 19 lbs for a two day event. Now if a contestant gets into a couple of good sized largemouths, and there are some, or Smallies, that will definately drive the weight up to the range that Larry predicts.

I guess you can catch "Spots" as deep as 70 ft. You will definitely have to work through smaller fish for bigger ones. I heard there are a lot of them in there.

Larry its a two day tournament, but if you make the top 50 on friday you fish on Saturday. Hope I'm in top 50 if I get good partners that is. You know Shasta is full of dinks like Roosevelt is. RB

Is it three days or two......... 2 days.........26.5 lbs 3 days.........34.5 lbs
but either way...real tight competition as all should limit with Shastas history!
