Went out on Spanaway 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday.  I started out fishing all of my favorite sopts, but didn't really have any luck.  Around noon, my girlfriend and I decided to try out some deeper water (about 20 - 30 feet), and next thing you know we're catching fish.  Well....  I have to admit, she caught the majority of them.  She kept right at the drop shot, and she really knocked 'em dead.  The biggest one ended up being a 2.5 pound smallie at about 4:00.

Then all of a sudden, the fish went completely cold.  Didn't really get much of anything after that except for some rock bass.  Maybe the fished moved up in shallow to get ready to start eating?
