Guys,

Went to Silver Lake on Sunday with a couple of CCBC members and we had one of the best days I've ever had fishing. We caught  4 fish in the first 10 min. and they ranged from 5 lbs. to 2 lbs.. We thought it could not get any better until I hooked into a 7lbs14 oz. largemouth. After that it was all downhill. We could only catch 3 to 5 pounders the rest of the day. We had an awesome day with over 25 keepers caught over 14". We even Caught a 15" fish that weighed 4lbs 1oz, it looked like it swallowed two beer cans. The fish were just gorging themselves. Believe it or not we only caught about five fish under 14". If you get the chance go fish this awesome lake.
We were flipping brush hogs, 5 " senkos and 6" Lizards along the docks and wood cover. Later in the day we just looked for shaded areas. We refished the same areas all day and caught new fish everytime we came back. Give it a try we had a great day.

Daryl
