Lake Cavanaugh is a bit East of Big Lake. If you come in from Lk. McMurray, (is that Hwy. 9?), there is a turnoff (left) to Big Lake and another to the right, to Cavanaugh.  I made a post several months ago, asking if folks had fished a bunch of lakes, and Cavanaugh was on the list.  Dinks? It could be that there are too many small bass in there.  Banks resembles that! And there are a lot of good lakes that have lousy launches, but that's why most of us buy 4x4 trucks.

Larry,

Mostly dinks but in the spring they pull some hawgs in there. The ramp sucks and the lake is really to small to fish.
