My wife and I went to Silver Lake over the weekend.  Met my brother and his wife there.  We stayed at the Silver Shores RV and Resort.  It has apparently been bought by someone else.  Still the same number, but no website yet.

Great weather Fri., Sat. and Sunday.  HOT!  But at nite BIG, TOOTHY "SKEETERS".  We had to keep the dogs in the tents so that the skeeters didn't pack them off.

I got a 6#4oz. LM.  My biggest to date.  Also, about 40 others.  Mostly dinks but several in the 2-3 lb. range.  2 in the 5+ range.  We were mostly pitchin' and flippin' brush hawgs to structure (see Kirk, I can be taught, thanks) and draggin' DT hula grubs.  Ray also got a catfish about 3.5 lbs with a chartruese spinnerbait.  WE ATE IT.  After cooking of course.
