I went out to Lake Sammamish this morning with a buddie of mine who's not in the club and had a really nice day of fishing.   I started fishing for largies right by the launch and stuck a nice two pounder right away with a pig and jig and then continued on for another ten minutes with no more takers.  We then pulled up and headed up the lake to give the smallies a try.  They didn't disapoint.  I probably got around 20-25 smallies, 2 largies and numerous perch all in about 5 hours.  My buddy did reasonably well and picked up about 10 smallies.  Biggest was around 3# with several in the 2# range.  Almost all fish were caught exclusively on sniper
baits.  Most fish were caught in 15-20 feet.

I hope all of you get the opportunity like I did today to get out soon and wet a line....it's good for the soul.

Bob
