GEEZ Jim get it right. His name was Brian. There is no "N" in Maglio and my biggest was 3.2 lbs. Anyhow it was fun. None of my fish were caught sight fishing. My 5 came off spinnerbaits off structure. Brian's came on senkos thrown behind areas were I caught fish. We came across one good sized school with like 7 fish cruising around. We each caught one. I had 67 degree waters even out of the coves and bays. Morning was slower with fish coming after about 9 am.

The fish in was alot of fun.
If anyone is planning on going to spencer for the main spawn dont waste any time. The temp was 68 + in the spawning bays. I saw a bunch of used beds and most of the fish jim and i caught and saw were singles and fanning eggs. None of the big pigs i saw last year. Even Jims 3lb 6 oz. looked like a huge male or a female allready spawned out.
it was lot of fun

Well a few of us showed up and fished, Don Baxter Jim Ruman Dave Jarrell Larry Sullivan Rich Loth Rob Manglio W/ Brent ? I think That was his name Faz and Myself
Rob Manglio caught 5 fish, Big fish I think was 2.10lbs Rich Loth caught 4 fish, Big fish was around 2lbs I think Dave Jarrell caught 3 fish and took big fish from me by 2 tenths of a pound at 3.8lbs and myself caught 2 with big fish of 3.6lbs I am sorry that I missed someones fish counts and I know I did. But I am not sure how the others did.
Most of the fish were caught on beds with much persistance and antagonizing.

I GUARANTEE YOU WILL SEE FISH AT THIS FISH-IN
Sorry it's late, Been Fishing,
Fishing is getting hot, I was out there 2 weeks ago and they were chomping at the bit to spawn. So I am sure we will be sight fishing Beds and skipping docks.
I know it will be a little bit of a jaunt over there but I am sure it will be worth it. PLEASE ALLOW ABOUT 1 AND A HALF HOURS TO GET THERE
Just a word of caution: Weather man says it will be sunny and 80 degrees, So, bring lots of WATER to drink and bring your sun block, Us fisher people are really susceptible to skin cancer, and I don't want any of you to be incapacitated and not able to fish.
OK, here is the pertinent information!!
