Just a quick reminder of our 1st tournament coming up will be a individual points on Lake Washington. Most fish should be Post spawn but you never know... Please bring exact change in a zip lock bag to make things go faster.

From Brian - Coal Creek launch (Newport), sign up 4-5 am.  Will have driver's meeting on the water 1st safe light, 5:20 ish,  numbers will be given as you sign up,  a random number will be drawn to determine launch order. Reverse order day 2. Weigh in both days at 3 pm.

I will be fishing the Silver Lk Open on Saturday but may go ahead and join for day 2. What is the entry fee this year? And is it still $40 for club dues?

Hope you can make it! They are $60 for annual dues and $40 for the tournament fees.

Western Bass Club Tournament Rules Under Social Distancing Order

*If you are sick or have any symptoms, we encourage you to stay home:  Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.
*During registration, please have a face covering on and please use your own pen. 
*All participants must pay in cash with the exact dollar amount.  $40 for the tournament entry fee and $60 to be a member (if you have not paid yet).  If you are not a member yet, please download the membership form, pre-fill it out and have it in the zip-lock bag.  Money must be in a zip-lock bag with your full name on it.

*You or your back seater must launch or pull out your own boat. 
*Driver’s meeting will be on the water
*You and your back seater must wear a mask/face covering at all times when the main motor is on or anytime you are within 6ft of each other. 
*During weigh in, only one angler from each boat can weigh in.  Only one angler at a time at the weigh in table and must wear a mask/face covering.  Other anglers must wait in their boat until it is their turn. 
*All anglers, guests or other family members must either wait in their boat or near their vehicles while the results are being tallied by the tournament director.  Once the tournament director is ready to announce the results, all participants must maintain a distance of 6ft from other club members. 
*Raffle prizes will be laid out at a designated area by the tournament director.  All items will be sanitized for your safety.  Please only touch and grab the item that you won.

And more info, especially for new members these are the requirements for participating in the tournament.

The full tournament rules are located in the Member Handbook at: http://www.westernbassclub.com/Documents/WBC_Member_Handbook.pdf

• Eligibility
o Only anglers who are current members of the Western Bass Club may fish club
tournaments for prizes, trophies, and points.
o All entry fees must be received prior to the start of the tournament.
o All boaters must show proof of insurance with the required liability limits before
the tournament start time on the first day.
o Non-participants may occupy a tournament boat during contest hours, provided:
▪ That they are present with the knowledge and approval of the Tournament
Director.
▪ That they are not allowed to participate in the tournament.

Required equipment
o All boats must be equipped with all required U.S. Coast Guard equipment,
including, but not limited to, flares.
o Contestants and passengers must wear a chest-type life preserver whenever the
main engine is running.
o All boats must display a “Contest” banner meeting the regulations of the
Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
o All boats must have a functional ignition kill switch for the internal combustion
engine. The driver must be securely connected to the kill switch any time the
internal combustion engine is running.
o NO ALCOHOL is allowed on any boat during tournament hours.
o All boats must be equipped with a functioning, aerated live well
