Who needs a co angler for this one? Joe is celebration wife’s birthday and I would love an opportunity to fish at least one more club event this year. I’ve only fished Tapps.

Turnament rules for team tournaments just so everybody is clear I think most people are but I just wanna make sure. Teams are formed with 2 anglers, That teen can weigh 6 fish. A team can fish solo but that team can only weigh 5 fish because obly 1 person in the boat. If a team member fishes with another club member that is considered a "new" team and pts do not count for previous team. Trophies and what now can still be won. However team of the year points do not get combined. Feel free to ask any questions.

Launch is at Bloedel Donavan Park.  2114 Electric Ave, Bellingham, WA 98229

The experience of several club members fishing the lake over the last few years is that while there is a ban on two stroke motors on the lake, they usually allow two strokes for tournament days. however they do a boat inspection where they check your live wells and make sure that your motor is clean and doesn't appear to have leaks before they'll allow you on the lake. Craig mentioned in our club meeting on Wednesday night that it appears that if you have two-stroke motor that is 2006 or newer they allow it because of changes that were made to the technology around that time.

I am currently at a rental house on Lake Whatcom and it is expected to rain most of the day today - Friday. Be aware that the weather forecast is for very cold weather and high winds Saturday and Sunday so if you are coming to the tournament be prepared for possible frost on the roads in the morning and bring plenty of cold weather gear.
