If you are reserved at Coulee Playland you are doing well.... they are full at this time... if you have a double site with space please try to fit in some more club members to get participation up there.

My wife and I are coming over. I will be fishing with Jose and we are looking forward to hanging out with Lyle and Andrea and the club.  We called Grand Center Lodge and they have rooms available. There is at least one more $70 room minus a fisherman's discount, as well as some bigger rooms available. Looking forward to a great summer weekend with the club!

I cannot express enough to everyone to take rehydration seriously.... I for one have been a victim of dehydration and payed the price of severe cramps, irregular heart rate and hospitalization ending in pneumonia....
Start Smart!!
1). Pre-Hydrate... start drinking water and electrolytes 2 days before you head over there... Gatorade 50/50 with water works great!
2). Avoid Diuretics. ie: Coffee... Alcohol and energy drinks... These can get you in trouble 3-4 times faster than just not drinking water...
3). Cool yourself down! Have a bucket on board to pour water on yourself or take a dip now and then to get your temperature down..
4). Sunscreen!! re-apply regularly especially if you get wet or go swimming.
5). Potassium supplements... ie: Bananas... I know folks have an aversion to bananas in fishing boats but you need to pre-load and re-load to help your muscles and tissues process and remove waste... there are other potassium forms.. look into them and avoid the Cramps!!.
Temps at Banks are going to be high 90's and poss. 102 with night temps around 70 so lets stay safe out there!!
Oh.. if your planning a outdoor fire.. bag it.. red flag rules are in play and no outdoor burning is allowed.

I'm sorry to miss this event...sounds like it will be much fun...

Also, thanks for all the support from my WesternBass boys on the ongoing family issues. Mom went to a long-term facility last week...big relief there for  everyone...its sad at one level, but she's safe and comfortable.
