Nice job to the guys that caught the bigger fish.  All I caught was a 1 lb 11oz and and 13 oz SM fishing a 5 inch single tail grub, smoke color, in 15 to 20 feet of water near weedlines.

Also caught a handful of small fish and had a ton of nibbles all day long with the smaller fish taking the tails off of whatever I was throwing at them.  The nibbles got to be maddening because they would never be followed by a bite, just nibbling on the 5 inch grub and darter head hook.

Congrats to the big fish guys again!

I second that. The perch were ridicuolous. 500 perch hits to 1 smallmouth. Crazy

Shawn was the perch master on my boat. When I saw the rock pile top water mode kicked in with two missed boils before the hookup for my big fish. I targeted out to 25 feet deep looking for bigger smb. I was rotating through Robo worms to see if there was a color preference. Did hook a few small bass.
