July 19th Lake Pattison Thurston County

I would like to have had the fish in on the 5th but I hate fishing on this weekend. With people blowing off  leftover fireworks all day and the fish being all freaked out from the explosions all night, typically this has been a crappy weekend to fish for me. With a tournament scheduled on the 12th 13th that is not an option either. So the 19th it is.

Stay tuned for launch time, breakfast, and directions.

***Please chime in here if you plan on attending so I know how much food and drinks to bring Thank You.****

Dan, 19 July is the Evergreen Bass Club's Fishing With America's Warriors event at American Lake on JBLM. Myself and others are committed to this good cause. Please reschedule. See post in general section.

So how was the lake? I did a little research on it, appears it doesn't get much deeper than 20 feet or so, was that the case? I tried to make it but just had too many chores.

Rock bass central.....combine that with super clear water and tons of forage made it a tough day..... Ray got a Largemouth that went 2.98 and I got one that went 3.15 otherwise it was Rockies..and Perch. Water was at 74.5 and weeds were pretty thick... Looked like a good spawn too lots of 2-6 inch bass swimming around.

I really, REALLY wanted to go to this one because I love Patterson.  There's some huge largies in there!  However Keri and I had to be at ICAST in Orlando.

Timing is everything.  Maybe next month....
