SmileyWe'll be fishin st clair on Sat. the 11th. Stay tuned for directions.

On another note, there really isn't anywhere to eat break fast so we can either do the launch breakfast like last time or eat at home. We will decide here. I'm up for either. But I'm just doing the chili dogs I'm not cookin' breakfast too. That's just too much cookin' for me in one day.

Cheesy sounds like Dan doesn't want to wash dishes twice in the same day.

I just leave the dishes outside so the bugs eat all the leftovers. They usually end up pretty clean by the next fish in.

Directions to Lake St Clair

I-5 going South from Seattle area
- I-5 South

- Off at 116 Exit, Old Nisqually Rd/Mounts Road

- Turn left over the bridge

- Follow the road 3.8 miles

- Turn Left on Reservation Rd

- Go 2.7 miles to the T intersection (Hwy 510)

- Turn Left and go .2 miles and turn right on Yelm Hwy SE (there is a sign pointing towards tumwater and LK st Clair.)

- Go 2.0 miles and turn right on Rehklau Rd. (there is a yellow diamond shaped sign on the right before the turn) and follow it down .8 miles and the launch will be on your Left. It's easy to pass up Rehklau Rd. Just ask Larry I think he passes it up every time and has to loop back around. It's on a sweeping turn. If you see a convenient store you've gone too far.

Launch will be at 6 if everyone's ok with that. Don't forget to chime in and let me know if you'll be there so I know how much food n drinks to bring.

Smiley I will be there! I am up for doing a shore breakfast again. I can make flap jacks again. Let's keep it simple with scrambled eggs w/ham and cheese, orange juice, ect. Who's up for it and how are going to contribute?

I'll be there.  I can bring 2 pounds of cooked bacon that we can warm up on the grill.  Or bring some orange juice, or whatever we need.

I think I'm in (This is totally dependent upon whether my boss thinks that I need to work or not).

Actually,(bleep) my boss. Consider me in. What can I bring? Looking at the list, I don't see and egg/potato donor yet so put me down for both.

OK, after reading the presidential mandate again, I'm leaving the taters at home. Eggs and something else it will be.

Sad  I now have a conflict that takes priority, sorry to say those who haven't tasted my Lake St Clare flapjacks maybe next time. Enjoy and don't let Dan get away with another big fish.  Wink

So maybe the shore breakfast isn't going to work with Rodney having other commitments.

What about the Denny's at exit 125 in Tacoma at 11755 Pacific Highway, Tacoma, WA 98499.  Lake St Clair is exit 116, so after breakfast we drive 9 miles to exit 116, about a 10 minute drive.  Wouldn't that work?

Maybe someone can pillage the recipe for Rodney's flapjacks...

Other than that it looks like either Denny's or forage for ourselves.  How many boats are going to be there?

I just don't know if there's any parking, and so far it looks like only two boats. I got a backseater.

I went down to Outdoor Emporium today and they have rectangular cast iron skillet that will fit perfectly over my Coleman 2 burner stove and I'm buying it tomorrow.  We just bought a folding 6 foot plastic table at Costco today so we can use that to setup on.  It doesn't sound like many guys will be showing up so I don't mind making scrambled eggs with cheese/onions/green peppers/tomatoes and heating up some bacon I cooked the night before.

Can anyone bring orange juice & plastic cups?  If someone wants to bring some muffins or some other pastry I think we've got breakfast.  I have paper plates, forks, paper towels and trash bags unless someone wants to bring those.

What do you guys say about doing breakfast at the launch like we had planned?

How many guys are showing up and who can help with some of the stuff I mentioned?
