End of the year Awards Banquet (Read 4928 times)

	We have a date for the Awards Banquet set, it will be Saturday, January 14th, at 6pm. It will be at Terry's workplace in South Seattle/Tukwila area. The location is called: The Station at Othello Park Address: 4219 South Othello ST Seattle, WA 98118 We are in need of some tables and chairs for this event, so if you have any please post how many you can bring so we can tally up how many we got. I can bring 4 tables, and about 10 chairs myself. For the new members, this is a potluck so bring your appetite, and your favorite dish of course. We will have a big raffle table as well, so hope everyone is feeling lucky. Donated items for the raffle table are always encouraged as this helps sell a few more tickets in the end which helps the clubs funds. I was at Dick's over the weekend and saw a nice Berkley tool kit on sale and Susan told me we should buy two, so I'm donating that item to the table. The CrankBait tree will be on display. The crankbait tree is like a raffle in itself: bring in a New in package crankbait, hang it on the tree and you get a raffle ticket. The more Crankbaits you bring, the more chances you have to win. Also this year we are having a soft plastics raffle. Bring one or more packs of soft plastics ( not your 10 yr old worms ) write your name on each package, and the name drawn will win all the plastics ! Great idea that was brought up at the last membership meeting. We are really hoping for a high turnout Banquet this year, as our location sounds like it's very nice. 	I'm bringing some Prociutto Infused Candied Pecan Brownies along with a main dish yet to be decided!! what are you all bringing? Oh also bringing several new packs of baits for the Worm Bucket...and several new crankbaits for the crankbait tree!!!!

	Okay...decided on smoked beef roasts...will be smoking them up all day tommorrow and have them ready to carve up at the banquet!!!
