I'm looking to make my bilge automatic. I think it's Terry that has an auto switch the is activated when the water gets deep enuogh to complete the circuit. So its not really a float switch(which seem to get stuck on alot). I looked at cabelas and Bass Pro but I didn't see what I was after. Any Ideas?

If you're looking just for a switch, then you might want to try electronics stores such as Westlake Electronics.

However, the price of auto-bilge pumps is pretty low, so it might be worth the extra buck or two to buy a new unit with the auto feature built in.

Terry called me on this, its a Bilge Buddy. I've got that on order, picking up a 800 gph pump to replace my 500 tonight. Then as soon as my new gator mount comes in and I get the trailer legal I'll be good to go.
