I have been fishing the stupid tube this year at Roosevelt and at American Lake. I found I was more successful casting it out deep and then twitching it back shallow. I use the Bass Pro 4" Magnum Flippin tube in Green Pumpkin with Chartreuse tail.

It's been awhile. Many of these old techniques have not been seen by the fish in awhile.
