Berkley Big Game 15 and 20 lb have served me well for most of my fishing. Braid is great in grass and pads but cuts in wood resulting in more hang ups. Have gravitated to more fluorocarbon for jig and worm fishing.

I flip braid 50-60. I pitch mono or fluoro 20-25.  Just because braid comes off the spool quickly a little too quick sometimes. Hard to control. If there's any limbs or twigs it seems to wrap-around very easily. Very frustrating.
This is just for me at least I'm sure everyone will have a slightly different opinion.

Do people prefer braid, mono, or fluoro for flipping jigs?
