I have stayed at 9-mile many times, never had a problem with their launch, must depend on the flow. Small dock, but sandy beach.

Long Lake is the August club tournament location.  This either means we will have the lake all to ourselves or we'll need to re-think it.

I have more to report.
I went to fish Long lake this afternoon over here in Spokane and I was in for a huge surprise.
The Forshees Resort was closed, boarded up and roped off.
I couldn't even use the launch!
What Bummer!
This is one of the my favorite lakes to fish in the spring - Huge Smallies and Big Largies.
The only other 2 launches I know of were 9 mile and on the dam at the lower end of the lake.
The 9 mile launch is hairy and the current really moves.
It would be like launching your outboard in a River - I didn't want to chance it.
So, if you plan on fishing over here this year, you'll need  use the launch closest to the dam.
Just a heads up.

I was turned on to a nice lake called (of all things) Silver lake. Lots of big largies in the shallows, but the were very, very spooky.
Couple more weeks and I will be back to try again.

Stay tuned - tomorrow report will be from Pot Holes!
