I think there will be 2 tactics Dipsnort. 1- Stay warm 2- Put the chili on the hotdog and make a chili dog.

Deep dropshots or craw imitators should work. A 693 ft cast may get the crankbaits deep enough ??

I can't remember the last time I went bass fishing and I'm experiencing a few withdrawls.

Any chance of actually catching a fish in this cold weather?  I bought a couple packeges of dropshot type baits yesterday.  Will that be the tactic of choice on Saturday?

I don't know iffin' I will be shaking from the cold or shaking from the anticipation of throwing sumptin' at dem ole Bass.  Been like 3 months since I set a hook on something other then my fingers.

I will be there without a boat.  I hope there are lots of boaters there.  Come on boaters this is the first hit of 2005.  Let's make it a good one.  I want to see a bunch of green slips with Jan. 15, 2005 turned in.

Come on WBC let's see if we can get at least a dozen people with greenslips for the whole year.

Hey Stu thanks for throwing that in there. Chris all you need to do is show up. We'll get you in a boat. The weather will be cold, but it looks like it will be dry this weekend. I thought about doing some chilli and hotdogs. I will also have beverages. Bring whatever else you would like. See yall there.

I freezed my butt off fishing for trout last weekend.  I'd love to freeze my butt off fishing for some bass.
Let me know if I can snag a ride in someones boat, I'll chip in some gas money, even pay your big fish entry.

Here's a reminder on the fish-in details:

425-392-6025
From I-405 take I-90 east to

Take exit #15 (900 west) to Lake Sammamish park.
End of exit take a right.
At next signal (Gilman) turn left

Remember, no one stays on the dock at a Fish-In. Everyone floats!

You don't have to pre-arrange a back seat for Fish-Ins. If you pre-arrange something with your AmBASSador, that's ok, but just because your AmBASSador can't make it doesn't mean you can't go.

THE MORE THE MERRIER!

Rob, The earliest I usally start seeing fish in Spanaway is late feb, early march allthough the majority of the big fish come out around the first full moon in April. By may/june I spend lots of afternoons on Lawrence, Harts and Clear lake.  Lots of big fish, low pressure. Smiley

Docks covered with goose crap or under water. Sounds like a job for a Hamhy's
