Hi Everyone,

Well, the year is starting to wind down and our last special event is coming up Saturday Sept. 6th. It's the annual CAST for Kids event. It would be great to see a large turnout by the club members. It doesn't matter whether you have a boat or not. We need volunteers to help with backing boats in, running keys, and helping with numerous tasks throughout the day. 7:30AM at Gene Coulon Park is the time things get started, with the kids showing up between 8:00 to 8:30AM. If you are a first-timer bringing your boat, this will be a special time you won't soon forget. Drivers will take you to the launch where you will pick up your backseater along with an adult. You will have your picture taken and off you go for a few hours of fun. All the tackle is supplied and usually fishing hot spots are shared among the other boaters. Around noon everyone is picked up and driven to the barbeque. Lunch, awards and music will finish the day. I hope to see as many of you as possible to help make this event a special time in the hearts of some very brave kids.
