Howdy Fellow Clubbers,

Here is a new map of Silver Lake. It was made by tracing an aerial image of the lake. It is not perfect, but it is one of the better maps I have seen of the lake, and it is intended to help those members that have never fished the lake before. Please be cautious while running this lake, as there are many obstacles in open water. These can be marked by anything ranging from exposed rebar to orange flags to milk cartons. The most dangerous areas for running include any areas around pilings, and the rockpile to the northwest of Walden Island. This is marked on the map with an "X". Last time I was there, the rockpile was flagged with two white jugs. The rocks will come within one or two feet of the surface, so please be careful!
